FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
September 3, 2025
Boise, ID – Tumbleweed Bicycle Co., a premium off-road touring bicycle design company, is proud to announce the release of the next generation Stargazer, now available in two fresh colors: Light Brick Red and Steel Blue.
First introduced in 2021 to wide praise, the Stargazer has quickly become one of Tumbleweed’s best-selling and most beloved bikes, earning the Bikepacking Awards Collective Choice, Editor’s Choice, and Gear of the Year awards, alongside being honored by the Radavist with their Best in Class drop bar touring bike distinction. Known for its balance of rugged reliability and versatile design, the newest evolution of the Stargazer remains largely unchanged with a few thoughtful upgrades—because riders don’t want it any other way.
“The Stargazer is probably our best all-arounder,” said Tumbleweed founder Daniel Molloy. “It covers a wide spectrum of different riding styles, and is still capable as a fully loaded touring bike. It has certainly become a fan favorite.”
Tried-and-True Features
The Stargazer stays true to its DNA, built with oversized, multi-butted and heat-treated chromoly steel tubing, generous tire clearance (up to 29x2.6”), and a full suite of mounts for racks, bottles, and gear. With its rigid mountain bike design, it offers large frame bag volume and the reliability Tumbleweed riders have come to count on—whether they’re riding across town or across continents.
What’s New
- Fresh color options in Light Brick Red and Steel Blue
- Updated geometry to match the Titanium Stargazer, with a 10mm longer effective top tube across all sizes
- Seatpost diameter increased to 31.6mm to support a wider range of dropper posts
-
Revised dropouts with UDH
The next generation Stargazer builds on its award-winning reputation with small but thoughtful refinements, without losing sight of the core design that made it a classic.
The new Stargazer debuted August 22nd at the MADE Bike Show in Portland, Oregon, and is now available for sale on tumbleweed.cc. The frame and fork are priced at $1,450, with full bike builds starting at $4,150.
