Introducing our new Stargazer drop bar mountain touring frame in titanium with a steel fork. It's a super high end frame with multi-butted, cold formed oversized custom 3Al-2.5V tubing that stands up to loaded off-road riding without turning into a noodle. We've been riding the sample frames for the last year and it's the bike I reach for more than any other. This is a super limited production frameset, we will most likely only offer them once a year (We are now on our second production run of frames). If you appreciate the lighter weight, corrosion resistance and dreamy ride quality that titanium offers then the titanium version of the Stargazer is a great option. We will sell these as framesets as well as complete builds, if you are interested in a complete bike please let us know in the notes section at checkout.

Geometry is the same as the steel frame, with 1cm longer in the top tube on all sizes.

  • 3Al-2.5V multi butted titanium tubing, ovalized top tube and down tube
  • Frameset includes titanium frame with steel fork, seat clamp, front and rear thru axles
  • Ti frame saves approximately 2lbs over the steel frame (4.25lb vs 6.25lb for an Extra Medium or 57cm frame)
  • Brushed bare titanium finish with dark midnight logos and a matching dark midnight steel fork (same fork that comes with the steel frameset)
  • 29x2.6” or 27.5x3.0” tire clearance with machined titanium chainstay yoke
  • 31.6mm seatpost (compatible with internally routed dropper posts)
  • 44mm headtube for ZS44 upper headset cups and EC44 lower cups, 30mm crown race with stock fork
  • Threaded bosses for full size racks and fenders front and rear, three sets of bottle bosses on main triangle, triple bottle bosses on each fork leg
  • 148x12mm frame spacing and 110x15mm fork spacing
  • 160/180mm flat mount disc brakes front and rear
  • 1x drivetrain specific frame, 38t max chainring with 52mm chainline

How can I run 11 speed SRAM road shifters with a 12 speed SRAM Eagle drivetrain?
A company called Ratio Technologies produces a kit that converts SRAM 11 speed road shifters to work seamlessly with 12 speed mountain derailleurs, we use their kit on our complete builds.
Can I run flat bars on the Stargazer?
Yes, you'll just need to take into account that the frame has a reach that is optimized for drop bars, you'll likely need a long stem to run flat bars.
My flat mount brake adaptors only have the option for 140mm or 160mm, what setting do I use for the Stargazer?
For the rear brake,if you want to run 160mm rotors, mount the caliper directly to the brake mount. Use the 160mm rear brake adaptor to run 180mm rotors. For the front brake, use the 140mm setting on your adaptor for 160mm rotors, and the 160mm setting for 180mm rotors.
